Why I Started This Blog

As a data analytics and technology professional with over 25 years of experience, I have worked with companies across various industries to help them make better data-driven decisions. My background includes implementing ERP systems, developing analytics solutions, and identifying key performance indicators that drive growth.

Throughout my career, I have noticed some common challenges that prevent organizations from harnessing the power of their data:

  • Data Blindness
Many senior executives do not fully grasp how leveraging analytics can give them a competitive edge. They continue making critical decisions based on intuition rather than data-driven insights. This causes them to miss key opportunities.
  • Data Neglect
Frontline managers often get so caught up in day-to-day operations that they fail to collect important performance data. With inadequate data capture, analysis to inform better decision-making becomes impossible.
  • Metric Mayhem
Companies waste time and resources tracking vanity metrics that do not actually correlate to meaningful outcomes. Selecting the right KPIs to monitor is crucial.

Without addressing these challenges, organizations leave immense value untapped in their data, hindering growth and progress.

These issues can significantly hinder a company’s competitive advantage. My passion is to empower businesses to overcome these pitfalls and succeed through data analytics.
